Pacific Vision Institute

1 Daniel Burnham Ct
San Francisco, CA 94109

A few weeks ago I decided I had had it with contacts and glasses, and did some Internet research on LASIK centers in San Francisco. Pacific Vision Institute constantly came up as number one. After attending a free consultation, I decided to go for it.

I had a variation on LASIK which actually corrects the cornea. This procedure is less invasive and simpler than LASIK, however has a longer recovery time. Dr. Faktororvich, Dr. Lee and Dawn were all consumate professionals, very understanding, and explained everything in great detail to me. I knew what to expect, and was treated very well.

It has been a week since my procedure and my vision is already 100% better than prior. Though it may take 1-2 months for my vision to reach 20/20, I am already very pleased and definetely recommend Pacific Vision Institute to anyone thinking of LASIK.

Lasik surgery as a teen

LASIK is actually a lot more versatile than people think it is. I'm only 17 and I had LASIK done back in June. I have to admit that mostly everything he says in the article is true, but for about a week's worth of slight discomfort, it was completely worth it. I'm seeing 20/15 now and I don't have any more problems with halos of light. My biggest complaint was that for the first two days its especially annoying because your eyes are highly light sensitive.

All in all, if you're sick of glasses and can afford the procedure, I highly recommend getting it done.
